Jaspers is really a variety of Chalcedony and hence a micro crystalline Quartz. In common useage, Jaspers tend to be more Earthy and not Translucent. They come in a myriad of colours and patterns each with different healing properties but in general they are all grounding and gently suffuse your cells with healing energy.
