This is a lovely example of Prasiolite, nicely polished into a domed oval cabochon. The stone itself is AAA quality and the delicate green seems very natural, although we can never discount some heating.
Super Bezel Setting with open back so the energies of the stone can run more freely with yours. I also like the special feature with the hinged bail.
Prasiolite is often called Green Amethyst which is really a misnomer, much like calling Citrine 'Orange Amethyst'.
In fact, when Amethyst is heated it normally turns into Citrine.
However, Amethyst from the Montezuma Mine in Brazil when heated carefully turns green instead and the real name of this material is Prasiolite.
Just like Citrine, though much more rarely, Prasiolite can be found naturally but it's safer to say that all the Prasiolite you see is heated treated Amethyst.
I do test the Thermal Conductivity of all our Prasiolite to prove that it is heated Amethyst, not a hydro quartz, but there's no test to prove whether it's 100% natural or heated material.
That said, the stone has a lovely light hearted spiritual energy. It's a calm and peaceful Healer.
In a loving way it releases blockages through the Crown Chakra, dissipating negative energies and lack of self belief in the Universe.
